Writers' Tears Copper Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Produced by Walsh Whiskey, Writers’ Tears pays tribute to the golden age of Irish literature and the many great poets, playwrights, and storytellers who shaped Ireland’s cultural legacy. The Copper Pot expression revives a classic Irish whiskey style by blending single pot still whiskey with single malt whiskey, both triple-distilled and matured in American oak bourbon casks. Unlike many Irish blends, it contains no grain whiskey, resulting in a richer, more characterful profile while maintaining the smoothness associated with Irish whiskey. Bottled at 40% ABV and presented at natural colour, it is widely regarded as a modern interpretation of traditional Irish whiskey craftsmanship.

Nose: Fresh orchard fruits with green apple and pear layered over honey, vanilla, and delicate floral notes.
