Yukon Single Malt Two Brewers Release 43

A bold and brazen Peated release, with the prominent earthy smoke balanced by a surprising richness. An expression seeking to make peat-lovers of us all! Ashen peat dominates the aroma, complimented by notes of cereal and honey. The aroma is borne out across the palate, with a note of golden crème caramel also rising to prominence. The whisky finishes complex - ginger and smoke bolstered by leather and clover honey and oak. Release 43 is 80% 9 year old and 20% 10 year old whisky. The malt bill on release 43 is 80% peated malt, some pale, honey and vienna malts, with a bit of that being some sour mash.
