Gosling's 151 Proof Black Seal Rum

Goslings Black Seal 151 Proof Rum is the high-strength expression of the historic Black Seal style from Goslings of Bermuda. The Gosling family’s history on the island stretches back to 1806, and Black Seal eventually became the company’s signature dark rum, its name originating from the black sealing wax once used to close its bottles.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Intense dark rum aromas of caramel and molasses lead into warming spice and herbs, with toasted wood and roasted nut character developing underneath.

Palate: Bold and concentrated with dark molasses, dried fruit and caramel joined by roasted nuts, toasted oak and assertive spice. Despite its considerable strength, the underlying richness keeps the profile rounded rather than purely alcohol-driven.

Finish: Long, warming and roasted, with lingering molasses, spice, charred wood and caramel.
