Volpaia 2021 Chianti Classico Riserva

Produced from estate-grown Sangiovese in the high-altitude vineyards of Radda in Chianti, the 2020 Riserva reflects Volpaia’s precise, terroir-driven approach. Grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness and fermented using temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. The wine was then aged in oak to build structure and complexity, followed by additional bottle aging to refine texture and harmony. This careful balance of tradition and modern technique results in a Riserva with depth, elegance, and aging potential.

Refined and expressive, the wine opens with aromas of sour cherry, red plum, and dried rose, layered with notes of spice, cedar, and earthy undertones.
