Destemmed, 50% crushed berries, three ferments (all concrete) 19, 58 and 88 days maceration. Pressed and 49% matured in concrete tank, 51% in 700l oak, 20% new, for up to 10 months. Red and black berries, quite nutty, a little spice and dried herb perfume. Medium-bodied, red fruits mainly, again that nutty character, with a little mint, fine dusty tannin grip with a savoury tobacco edge, lively with plenty of energy, and a firm finish of good length.
