Frank Family 2021 Carneros Pinot Noir

Founded in Napa Valley in 1992, Frank Family Vineyards sources this Pinot Noir primarily from its estate Lewis Vineyard in Napa-Carneros, supplemented by fruit from Beckstoffer Vineyards and Sangiacomo Vineyards across Napa and Sonoma Carneros

The 2021 is 100% Pinot Noir, harvested between September 4 and October 2. It matured for nine months in French oak, with 33% new barrels and 67% once- and twice-filled barrels, adding spice and structure without overwhelming the fruit.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright ruby-red.
Nose: Warm baked cherry and pomegranate with cinnamon, ripe strawberry and subtle savoury herbs.
Palate: Juicy and balanced, with strawberry and red cherry supported by lively acidity, soft tannins and gentle French oak spice.
Finish: Long and fresh, with lingering red fruit, toasted rosemary and spice.
