Frank Family 2022 Napa Valley Zinfandel

The 2022 is 90% Zinfandel and 10% Petite Sirah and was aged for 17 months in French oak, with 30% new barrels and the remainder once- and twice-filled. Petite Sirah adds colour and structure while keeping Zinfandel’s ripe fruit and peppery character at the forefront.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby-purple.
Nose: Dark plum, raspberry and black cherry with sandalwood, baking spice and subtle dried herbs.
Palate: Generous and fruit-forward, with baked strawberry, blackberry and plum layered with cracked pepper and gentle oak.
Finish: Long and balanced, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity and lingering dark fruit and spice.
