Aresca Barolo Costareto

Aresca was founded in 1952 by brothers Luigi and Piero Aresca and remains a multigenerational family winery based in Mombercelli, between Monferrato and the Langhe. Costareto is the estate’s traditional expression of Barolo DOCG, produced entirely from Nebbiolo grown in south-facing vineyards within the Barolo production area.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby-red developing garnet highlights.
Nose: Ripe red cherry and violet with dried herbs, balsamic notes, spice, tobacco and subtle vanilla.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied, with mature red fruit, firm but fine-grained tannins and savoury notes of cocoa, cedar and spice.
Finish: Long and structured, with lingering red fruit, balsamic herbs and warm spice.
