Croix Montjoie 2022 Vezelay L'Impatiente Bourgogne Blanc

Founded in 2009 by Sophie and Matthieu Woillez, Domaine La Croix Montjoie farms vineyards around Tharoiseau overlooking Vézelay. The region’s clay-limestone soils and cooler northern Burgundy climate naturally favour fresh, mineral-driven Chardonnay. L’Impatiente is the domaine’s most immediate and fruit-forward Vézelay, made from 100% Chardonnay and certified organic for the 2022 vintage. Unlike the estate’s more oak-influenced cuvées, it is aged for approximately 9–12 months entirely in stainless steel, emphasizing purity, freshness and varietal character.

Colour: Bright pale gold.

Nose: Peach, apricot and lemon with white flowers and subtle buttery notes.

Palate: Smooth and juicy, with ripe stone fruit, fresh citrus and well-integrated acidity.

Finish: Clean and mineral, with lingering fruit and savoury spice.
