Chateau Montifaud V.S.O.P

Château Montifaud is a sixth-generation family-owned Cognac house located in the heart of the Cognac region. The Vallet family has cultivated vineyards and distilled Cognac since the early 1800s, overseeing every stage of production from grape growing to bottling. With vineyards spanning the prestigious Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne crus, the estate is renowned for producing elegant, terroir-driven Cognacs that emphasize purity, balance, and exceptional ageing potential. The VSOP is crafted exclusively from Ugni Blanc grown in the Petite Champagne cru. Distilled on the lees in traditional Charentais copper pot stills, the eaux-de-vie are matured for approximately 8–10 years, significantly longer than the four years required for the VSOP classification.
