Cotswolds Peated Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky

This whisky has been made using 100% local English barley, which is malted at a floor malting at Warminster (a very rare practice these days). It is then long fermented (with two kinds of yeast), and distilled in traditional copper pot stills, producing a characterful spirit.The new make spirit is then aged in quarter cask barrels that have previously held peated Scotch whisky. The result is a whisky rich in dried fruits, spice, gentle creamy peat, light apple, pear, honey, burnt wood, bananas, pressed flowers, toffee and crunchy malt.
