Kavalan 2010 10 Year Old Artist International 10th Anniversary

Kavalan 10 Years Old 2019 Artist #10 International is a 10-year-old single malt from the Kavalan Distillery in Taiwan. It was distilled on 28 April 2010 and matured for 10 years in Port Cask #0100428008A. In 2020, La Maison du Whisky bottled it for their Artist #10 International series. The labels for this range were created by Eric Robin. Only 179 bottles of Kavalan 10 Years Old 2019 Artist #10 International were released. Taiwan is the world’s third largest market for single malt whisky, yet the country only has one distillery. This is because, until 2002, the Taiwanese government had a monopoly on producing alcohol. The Kavalan Distillery was established in 2005, making it the country’s first private whisky distillery. Kavalan single malt has already won several awards, including Jim Murray’s ‘New Whisky of the Year’ and ‘World’s Best Single Malt Whisky’ at the World Whiskies Award.
