Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc Viognier

Pine Ridge Vineyards, established in Napa Valley in 1978, is widely recognized for premium Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style wines, but its Chenin Blanc + Viognier blend has developed a strong following for its lively and approachable character. The wine reflects the winery’s commitment to quality-driven winemaking while showcasing a more vibrant and refreshing side of California viticulture.

The blend combines Chenin Blanc’s crisp acidity and citrus-driven freshness with Viognier’s floral aromatics and rounded texture. Fruit is sourced from carefully selected California vineyard sites where warm daytime conditions encourage ripe fruit flavours while cooler evenings help maintain balance and natural acidity.

Fermentation takes place primarily in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to preserve freshness, aromatic intensity, and varietal purity. The winemaking approach focuses on balance and drinkability, allowing both grape varieties to contribute complementary characteristics without excessive oak influence.

The result is a clean, expressive white blend with both freshness and texture.
