Poggio Landi Rosso

Poggio Landi is an estate located in Montalcino, Tuscany, an area internationally renowned for producing some of Italy’s finest Sangiovese-based wines. The vineyards benefit from varied elevations, excellent sun exposure, and well-drained galestro and clay-limestone soils that contribute both structure and aromatic complexity.

Rosso di Montalcino is made from 100% Sangiovese, the same grape used for Brunello di Montalcino.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright ruby red with garnet highlights

Nose: Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and plum layered with notes of violet, dried herbs, spice, and subtle earthy undertones

Palate: Medium-bodied, with lively acidity and fine-grained tannins. Flavours of ripe red berries, sour cherry, and red currant are complemented by savoury notes, gentle spice, and mineral nuances

Finish: Fresh and elegant, with lingering cherry fruit, floral notes, and classic Tuscan character
