Signatory Glen Rothes 10 Year Old 100 Proof #50

Signatory Vintage Glenrothes 10 Year Old 2015 100 Proof Edition #50 was distilled at Glenrothes in 2015 and bottled in 2025 after a decade of maturation. The whisky comes from a small batch of first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and was bottled at 57.1% ABV, equivalent to 100° British proof. It is presented without chill filtration or added colouring, keeping the whisky as close to its cask character as possible.

Glenrothes Distillery is located in the town of Rothes in the heart of Speyside. Established in 1878, the distillery has historically contributed malt to important blends including Cutty Sark and The Famous Grouse, while developing a reputation for a naturally fruity, spicy spirit that responds particularly well to sherry-cask maturation.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Ripe red berries and dried fruit lead into toffee and dark chocolate, accompanied by warming malt and rich Oloroso character.

Palate: Full-bodied and concentrated with raisins, caramel, and sweet sherry fruit, developing into orange peel and warming spice. The high proof adds considerable weight and intensity while the underlying malt provides balance.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering dried and red fruit, sweet spice, sherry richness, and a gently drying touch of oak.
