Balvenie 16 Year Old French Oak Pineau

The Balvenie 16 Year Old French Oak Pineau Cask Finish is part of the distillery's Cask Finishes range, introduced in 2022. Created under legendary Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE, it represents the first time Balvenie explored casks previously used to mature Pineau des Charentes, a distinctive fortified wine from France's Cognac region.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Delicate lotus blossom and geranium with fresh meadow grass, green apple skin and soft vanilla.
Palate: Bright lemon zest and grapefruit lead into glazed fruit, honey and warming root ginger.
Finish: Fresh and gently spiced, with lingering citrus, soft sweetness and a clean, elegant character.
