Founded in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, Duckhorn Vineyards is one of Napa Valley's most iconic wineries and has played a pivotal role in establishing the region's reputation for world-class Bordeaux varieties. While the winery is renowned for its Merlot, its Cabernet Sauvignon has become equally celebrated for its precision, elegance, and exceptional consistency.

The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec, depending on the vintage. Fruit is sourced from estate vineyards and long-standing grower partners across renowned appellations including Rutherford, Oakville, Howell Mountain, Atlas Peak, Stags Leap District, and Yountville. This diverse vineyard sourcing creates a wine with layered complexity, structure, and regional character.

Colour: Deep garnet-ruby with violet reflections

Nose: Aromas of blackberry, cassis, black cherry, and plum layered with notes of violet, cedar, graphite, cocoa, espresso, and baking spice

Palate: Full-bodied and beautifully structured, with concentrated flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherry, and ripe plum supported by fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. Layers of dark chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, cedar, and subtle mineral notes add depth and complexity
