Warm n Cozy Mulled Wine

Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery is a family-owned winery on the shores of Lake Erie near Harrow, Ontario. The Mitchell family first planted vines here in 1991, with the winery releasing its first vintage in 2004.

Warm N Cozy is a sweet, flavoured red wine inspired by European Glühwein, Vin Chaud and Glögg. The base wine is listed as a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, although exact proportions are not published. It is already seasoned with citrus and winter spices, so no additional preparation is required beyond gentle warming.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby red.
Nose: Warm cinnamon, clove and nutmeg with orange peel, ripe berries and plum.
Palate: Gently sweet and warming, with juicy berry fruit, spiced orange and layers of cinnamon and clove.
Finish: Soft and lingering, with sweet red fruit, citrus and warming baking spice.
