Glenallachie 11 YO Pedro Ximénez-Sherry Puncheon Single Cask #806517

Exclusive Single Cask Bottling for Craft Cellars & Chateau Louis Alberta. Distilled on August 17, 2011, the Single Malt Whisky from the GlenAllachie Distillery matured for 11 years in the exPedro Ximénez-Sherry Puncheon with the number #806517, before it was bottled in September 2022 to only 721 bottles. Tasting notes: Nose : Lashings of toasted oats, mocha and dark chocolate, with hints of glazed cherries, baking spices and treacle. Palate: Bursting with coffee, nougat and caramelised brown sugar, followed by dark chocolate, heather honey and toffee with ginger on the finish. Shanes Notes: Nose: Brown sugar, blueberry and English breakfast tea, cherry pie, chocolate covered berries, coffee beans, almonds and a touch of salinity. Palate: Thick and oily, this whisky immediately coats the palate. The brown sugar sweetness shows itself first, then into a medley of berries, almonds, molasses, ginger and white pepper. Finish: Almonds, oak, cherries, and leather linger on the palate.
