Illimis Grenache Noir

Grapes are sourced from two vineyards located in Wellington. Shale soil with pockets of schist delivers a wine with fine, chalky tannins and beautiful aromas with a long finish. Inviting toasted marshmallows, pomegranate, hazelnut and nutmeg notes on the nose. Discover buchu, prickly pear, and vibrant cherries on the palette of this delicate wine, accompanied by allspice and cardamom, leading to a signature finish characterized by savoury notes, and refined, chalky tannins.
