Jura 30 Years Old Artist #11 2021

Jura 30 Years Old Artist #11 1991 is a rare single cask malt from the Jura distillery, released for La Maison du Whisky’s 11th annual Artist series. The whisky was distilled in 1991 and matured in bourbon barrel #946 for 30 years, before being bottled at 54.1%. This year, abstract artist Catherine Ludeau designed the bottles’ labels. The Jura distillery, located on the island of Jura in the Inner Hebrides, was founded in 1810 by Archibald Campbell. The distillery closed in 1901 and was dismantled. The distillery was rebuilt in 1960 and production started again in 1963. Jura has been in the hands of Whyte & Mackay since 1993. Only 110 bottles of Jura 30 Years Old Artist #11 1991 have been released.
