This Dutch Single Malt Whisky is incredibly dark, rich and luscious. The whisky expresses those typical notes that you would expect from a full and 20 year long maturation an a PX sherry cask, plus a fair bit extra. Nose: Rich and sweet, with lemon and citrus. The long maturation has contributed to the complexity and has added warm aromas of old leather and dried fruit. Palate: Luxurious and rich, wonderfully balanced. The sweetness from the PX is balanced by citrus combined with a warm, dried fruits quality. In the background the trademark spiciness and a pleasant bitter note that adds complexity.
