This Merlot-dominant blend imparts rich flavours of both red and blue fruits. The Cabernet Franc provides a subtle herbaceous undertone that enriches the wine’s complexity, while the Cabernet Sauvignon brings balance supporting length on the palate. A touch of Petit Verdot contributes to the wine’s structural composition. Aged nineteen months in small French oak barrels followed by an additional 24 months in bottle prior to release. “The wine begins with appealing aromas of cassis, spice and dark cherry.
