Mr Uko 2022 Cabernet Franc

The 2022 vintage for this Cabernet Franc comes from Argentina. Grapes are matured with oak influence, with the oak and tannins integrated so they complement the fruit without overwhelming it. The wine is 14.5% ABV. Conditions for growing favored flavor development, with warm days balanced by cooler cooling periods that helped retain freshness despite richness.

Tasting Notes & Serving Suggestions:
Deep red in color with vibrant aromas of blueberries, tobacco, and pepper, layered with floral undertones and spicy notes. On the palate it is well-structured and lively, with balanced acidity and fine-grained oak supporting flavors of dark fruit and subtle minerality. The finish is long and elegant.
Serve at 16-18 °C (60-64 °F) in Bordeaux-style glasses to bring out its aromatic profile and balanced texture. Decant for 30-45 minutes if drinking young to open the wine.
