Broc Cellars Love Red

Founded in Berkeley, California, Broc Cellars has become one of the leading producers in the natural and low-intervention wine movement in the United States. Winemaker Chris Brockway focuses on organically farmed vineyards, native fermentations, and restrained cellar practices designed to highlight freshness, energy, and site expression rather than heavy extraction or oak influence.

Love Red is crafted as an easy-drinking California red blend sourced from sustainably and organically farmed vineyards across the state. The blend often incorporates varieties such as Carignan, Valdiguié, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, depending on the vintage, creating a wine that balances juicy fruit with savoury complexity and freshness.

Fermentation typically occurs with native yeasts and minimal additions, while aging takes place in neutral vessels to preserve purity and texture without overt oak character. Lower alcohol levels and gentle extraction contribute to the wine’s bright, food-friendly style and effortless drinkability.

The result is a lively and expressive red that bridges the gap between traditional and natural winemaking styles.
