Henry Pelham Rosé

Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery, located on the Short Hills Bench in Niagara, is a family-owned producer known for estate-grown wines and a strong focus on regional expression. The winery benefits from the moderating effects of the Niagara Escarpment, which supports balanced ripening and preserves acidity.

The Rosé is typically made from estate-grown red varieties such as Baco Noir, Cabernet Franc, or Pinot Noir, depending on the vintage. Grapes are harvested early to maintain freshness and natural acidity. The wine is produced using direct pressing or limited skin contact to achieve its pale colour and delicate structure.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel to retain aromatic purity and a clean, fruit-driven profile, resulting in a dry and refreshing style.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale pink with salmon hues
Nose: Aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and red currant, with hints of citrus and floral notes
Palate: Light-bodied and crisp, with flavours of red berries, watermelon, and citrus, supported by bright acidity
Finish: Clean and refreshing, with a dry, lively finish and lingering fruit

Cellaring & Pairings
Best enjoyed young within 1–2 years of vintage to preserve its freshness and vibrancy.
Pairs well with salads, seafood, grilled vegetables, and light poultry dishes. Also complements charcuterie, soft cheeses, and Mediterranean-style cuisine.
