Produced by Morris Whisky Distillery in Rutherglen, Victoria, Morris Single Malt Sherry Barrel draws on more than 165 years of fortified wine-making expertise. Established in 1859, Morris Wines is one of Australia's most celebrated producers of Muscat and Topaque, and the distillery uniquely repurposes these seasoned barrels to mature its single malt whisky. Distilled from 100% Australian malted barley in traditional copper pot stills, the whisky is matured in premium American and French oak casks before undergoing secondary maturation in barrels seasoned with Morris' award-winning fortified wines. This process imparts exceptional richness and complexity, creating a whisky that reflects both the distillery's innovative spirit and its deep winemaking heritage. Bottled at 46% ABV, natural colour, and non-chill filtered, it is a distinctive expression of Australian whisky craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromas of raisins, dried figs, orange marmalade, dark chocolate, roasted almonds, vanilla, and warm baking spices are layered with hints of polished oak and rich malt.

Palate: Full-bodied and velvety with flavours of fruitcake, toffee, honey, dark cherries, cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted walnuts, and sweet sherry richness balanced by creamy malt.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, sweet oak, espresso, baking spice, and subtle tannins.
