Domaine Barge Côte Rotie Côte Brune 2014

This Côte Rôtie is aged for 24 months in 600-litre casks before being bottled. The result is a wine with lots of race and depth. This bottle is exceptional and can be enjoyed divinely today after decanting for several hours. Vines are sustainably farmed and grain on low fertile soils to produce intensely concentrated and pure fruit. Aromas of violet, spices, dark fruit and black olive, follow through on the palate. The wine is full-bodied, with excellent structure and balance with a lifted, spicy finish.
