Delas 2018 Grands Chemins Crozes Hermitage

The 2018 vintage for Delas Grand Chemin Crozes Hermitage benefited from a warm and generous growing season that produced ripe, concentrated Syrah with supple tannins. Grapes from select hillside parcels were vinified in temperature controlled tanks with careful extraction to capture both freshness and depth. Aging took place in a mix of seasoned and a smaller portion of new French oak which added refinement and subtle spice while preserving the purity of the fruit.

Tasting Notes:
The wine shows aromas of blackberry, violet, dark plum and cracked pepper supported by notes of smoked meat and warm spice. The palate is rich yet balanced with dense dark fruit, gentle savory tones and polished tannins that lead to a long mineral edged finish.
