Gerard Bertrand An 806 Corbieres GSM
$20.99
It is in 806 that we find the first traces of the Castle of Peyrepertuse, heritage of the cathars who built the citadels of the vertigo, always dominating the vineyard. The Corbières offer an extraordinary geological diversity of schist, limestone and rolled pebbles.
The wine has a deep, intense ruby colour. Powerful mocha and coffee aromas come through on the nose. On the palate the wine is well balanced and harmonious, beautifully rounded on the attack with ripe fruit aromas, and full in style. This is a wine with substance, structure, and a soft, almost endlessly lingering finish.
