Belle Glos 2022 Dairyman

Belle Glos Dairyman 2022 is a single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, crafted by Belle Glos to showcase both the site’s coastal influence and ripe, concentrated fruit. The vineyard is planted to Dijon clones chosen for balance and complexity, and the fruit is harvested cool to preserve brightness. After fermentation with careful extraction, the wine is aged about nine months in French oak (a significant portion new), which adds texture and spice while letting the pure Pinot Noir fruit shine. The result is elegant yet powerful, with structure that invites both immediate enjoyment and moderate aging.

Tasting Notes:
In the glass the 2022 Dairyman shows deep garnet color and generous aromas of black cherry, blackberry pie and dark chocolate with hints of black currant and cedar. On the palate it is medium-plus bodied with lively acidity and refined tannins, offering layered flavors of blackberry, raspberry pie filling, cinnamon, nutmeg and subtle mocha-like oak spice. The finish is smooth and mouthwatering with fruit and spice lingering together.
