Benromach Cask Strength Vintage 2014 Batch 3

The nose brings rich aromas of fruitcake, warm vanilla, and brown sugar, layered with spicy ginger and milk chocolate tones. On the palate it opens with stewed plum and Seville orange, tempered by cracked black pepper and toasted oak. A soft smoke drifts in the background and subtle liquorice emerges toward the mid-palate. The finish is long and warm with lingering smoke and a hint of aniseed. Best enjoyed neat to experience its full strength, or with a drop of water to soften the edges and reveal more citrus and spice. Use a tulip or Glencairn glass to let the aromas open up.
