Chateau La Lagune 2022

Classified as a Troisième Cru Classé (Third Growth) in the historic 1855 Bordeaux Classification, Château La Lagune is located in the southern Haut-Médoc near the appellation boundary with Margaux. The estate's origins date back to the 16th century, and today it is recognized as one of Bordeaux's benchmark producers, combining traditional winemaking with a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep garnet-ruby with purple reflections in youth, evolving toward brick-red hues with age

Nose: Complex aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry layered with notes of cedar, tobacco, violet, graphite, cigar box, and subtle spice

Palate: Medium- to full-bodied, with refined tannins and vibrant acidity. Concentrated dark fruit flavours are complemented by layers of cassis, cocoa, cedar, mineral notes, and classic Médoc savouriness

Finish: Long, elegant, and persistent, with lingering dark fruit, graphite, spice, and finely integrated oak
