Eau Claire Single Malt Batch #008

Eau Claire Distillery, nestled in Turner Valley, Alberta is known for its farm-to-glass ethos, using local barley and traditional craft methods to produce whiskies with authentic prairie character.
Batch #008 continues their series of small-batch single malts, each one blended from select barrels to highlight a unique balance of sweetness, malt depth, and cask influence.

Nose:
Warm barley malt, honeycomb, and baked apple lead the way, supported by vanilla, soft caramel, and a hint of prairie grass. Subtle notes of toasted oak and dried citrus peel add lift.

Palate:
Smooth and rounded with flavours of sweet malt, toffee, and ripe orchard fruits. Mid-palate brings gentle spice; cinnamon, nutmeg, a touch of white pepper, along with creamy vanilla and light oak char. The texture is full yet balanced.

Finish:
Medium-long with lingering honeyed grain, warm spice, and a touch of dried orange and oak.
