Educated Guess 2021/22 Napa Merlot

The blend is primarily Merlot (approximately 85 %) sourced from Napa Valley, complemented by small percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah from adjacent regions. The wine was aged in French oak barrels to build texture and presence without sacrificing the bright fruit character.

On the nose the 2021 vintage showcases abundant red and black fruit — think ripe plum, wild berries, red currants — intertwined with notes of espresso, graphite and a lift of orange zest. The palate delivers a medium-to-full body with supple tannins, a texture that is rich yet controlled, offering chocolate-tinged fruit, toasted vanilla and herbs.
