Familia Zuccardi 2019 Finca Canal Uco Malbec

Led by winemaker Sebastián Zuccardi, Zuccardi Valle de Uco focuses on expressing individual vineyard sites through minimal-intervention winemaking. Finca Canal Uco was the family’s first vineyard planted in the Uco Valley and helped establish their work in Paraje Altamira, one of Argentina’s most important high-altitude Malbec regions. The 2019 vintage was notably cool and dry, with slow ripening, strong day-to-night temperature swings and excellent natural acidity.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep, intense purple.

Nose: Blackberry, blueberry and red fruit with wild herbs, rose, graphite and subtle earthy notes.

Palate: Juicy and concentrated, with dark fruit, excellent freshness and ultra-fine tannins showing a distinctive chalky texture.

Finish: Long, focused and mineral, with lingering graphite, herbs and dark berry fruit.
