Highland Park 25 Year Old

On the nose you might find heather honey, soft peat smoke, walnut, and menthol, mingled with herbal notes of fennel and fresh grass. Over time, richer layers of toffee, dark chocolate, dried fruit, and oak tannin emerge. The palate is full: expect supple peat, sherry sweetness, winter spice, and a chew of oak. The finish turns drier than younger Highland Parks, with lingering woody smoke and a touch of late honey. Enjoy neat in a Glencairn or tulip glass to allow the aromas to unfold. If you find the oak a bit strong, a drop or two of water can reveal more fruit and soften the edges.
