Howell Mountain is one of Napa Valley’s most distinctive sub-appellations, known for producing powerful, structured Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards situated above the fog line. The combination of volcanic soils, elevation, and increased sunlight exposure contributes to smaller berries, thicker skins, and wines with greater tannin and concentration.
