La Chablisienne 2022 La Pierrelee

Founded in 1923, La Chablisienne is one of Chablis’ most respected cooperative producers, representing numerous growers across the appellation. The winery is recognized for its meticulous vineyard selection and its ability to express the varied terroirs of Chablis through a range of wines focused on purity, structure, and minerality.
The 2022 vintage delivered warm and generally favourable growing conditions, producing wines with both concentration and freshness. Careful temperature-controlled fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks helped preserve the wine’s bright acidity and terroir-driven character without the influence of oak.

Colour:
Pale gold with bright green highlights.

Nose:
Fresh aromas of green apple, lemon peel, white flowers, and wet stone with subtle hints of pear and oyster shell minerality.

Palate:
Crisp and focused with flavours of citrus, orchard fruit, and chalky minerality. The texture is clean and linear, supported by vibrant acidity and excellent precision.

Finish:
Long, dry, and mineral-driven with lingering citrus and saline notes.
