Louis Martini 2021/22 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Founded in 1933, Louis M. Martini is one of Napa Valley’s historic wineries and was among the first bonded wineries to open following the repeal of Prohibition. The winery has played a significant role in establishing Napa Valley’s reputation for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and continues to focus on vineyard-driven expressions of the variety.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby with garnet and purple reflections

Nose: Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, and black cherry layered with notes of sage, cedar, vanilla, toasted oak, and baking spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and structured, with flavours of cassis, blackberry, plum, and dark cherry supported by fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. Layers of cocoa, cedar, dried currant, and subtle herbal notes add depth and complexity.

Finish: Long and polished, with lingering dark fruit, vanilla, oak spice, and a characteristic dusty Napa Valley finish.
