MAN 2024 Free Run Chenin Blanc

The 2024 vintage in the Western Cape featured a cooler, more moderate growing season with well-timed rainfall, contributing to even ripening and excellent fruit quality. With cooler nights and sunny days, acidity retention was strong, and aromatic intensity remained high—especially important for Chenin Blanc. The result is a lively, balanced wine that reflects both the climate and the skilled vineyard sourcing from old, dry-farmed bush vines.

Tasting Notes:
Fresh, crisp, and fruit-forward, offering vibrant aromas of green apple, honeysuckle, and tropical fruit like pineapple and guava. The palate is clean and medium-bodied, showing layers of white peach, citrus zest, and a subtle flinty minerality. A bright thread of acidity gives the wine lift and energy, while the “free-run juice” technique (using only the juice from the grapes without pressing) ensures a softer texture and pure, aromatic expression.

Serving Suggestions:
Well chilled at 8–10°C (46–50°F). This wine is a great pairing with grilled seafood, Thai dishes, roast chicken with lemon and herbs, or fresh goat cheese.
