Distilled at Mannochmore in September 2009, this single malt matured for 13 years, including a finish in an amontillado hogshead. The cask was opened by indie bottler Auld Goonsys Malt, releasing a total of 295 cask-strength bottles in February 2023 Tasting Note: Nose: Sweet Madeira cake, orange peels, sultanas, ginger, and floral honey. Palate: Chocolate and praline are joined by rich baking spices and stewed fruit, while juicy barley and vegetal oak rest in the depths. Finish: Ginger and nutmeg, apricot jam, with a touch of clove, and earthy tea in tow.
