Orma 2017 Toscana IGT

Orma 2017 is a Bordeaux-inspired blend from the coastal vineyards of Bolgheri in Tuscany, where warm maritime influences and well-drained soils contribute to concentration and structure. The vintage was marked by a hot, dry growing season, resulting in small berries with intense flavour and depth. Each varietal was harvested and vinified separately, with careful extraction to preserve balance and aromatic clarity. The wine was aged in French oak barrels to enhance complexity, refine tannins, and support long-term development. The final blend reflects precision, power, and the distinctive character of its coastal terroir.

Tasting Notes:
Rich and structured, the wine opens with aromas of blackcurrant, dark plum, and ripe blackberry, layered with notes of cedar, tobacco, and sweet spice. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with dense dark fruit framed by firm, polished tannins and integrated oak. A long, savoury finish reveals hints of cocoa, graphite, and dried herbs, highlighting both the wine’s intensity and its capacity for graceful aging.
