Podere San Cristoforo 2023/24 Luminoso Vermentino

Podere San Cristoforo is a boutique, organic-certified estate located in Tuscany’s Maremma, near the Tyrrhenian coast. The winery is committed to sustainable farming and low-intervention winemaking, working without synthetic chemicals in the vineyard and limiting additives in the cellar to maintain purity and expression of terroir.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale straw with green reflections
Nose: Fresh and aromatic, with notes of citrus, green apple, white peach, and Mediterranean herbs
Palate: Light- to medium-bodied, with crisp acidity and flavours of lemon, pear, and subtle saline minerality
Finish: Clean and refreshing, with lingering citrus and a lightly savoury, coastal note

Cellaring & Pairings
Best enjoyed young within 2–3 years of the vintage to preserve its freshness and aromatic character.

Pairs well with seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, and light pasta dishes. Also complements salads, fresh cheeses, and Mediterranean-style vegetable preparations.
