Rodney Strong 2022/23 Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Rodney Strong Vineyards, founded in 1959, is one of Sonoma County’s established producers, known for its focus on single-appellation wines and sustainable vineyard practices. The winery has played a key role in defining Sonoma’s sub-appellations, including Knights Valley.
The 2022/23 vintages reflect warm growing conditions, supporting full ripening and concentrated fruit. Grapes are harvested at optimal maturity and fermented in temperature-controlled tanks. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels (a portion new), adding structure, texture, and layers of spice while integrating with the fruit profile.

Palate: Full-bodied with concentrated dark fruit flavours, firm yet polished tannins, and balanced acidity; hints of mocha, tobacco, and oak spice add complexity
Finish: Long and persistent, with lingering dark fruit, spice, and refined oak
