A balanced four-star vintage offering ripe fruit, smooth tannins, and moderate aging potential. The 2011 Trio delivers ripe flavors of blackberry, plum, and sweet tobacco, framed by moderate acidity and velvety tannins. Reflecting the warmth of the vintage, the wine is approachable yet offers complexity. Decanting reveals hints of leather, cocoa, and herbs, adding layers to the palate. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, pasta with meat sauce, or aged cheeses, enhancing the wine’s bold profile. While enjoyable now, it will develop further over  the next 8-10 years. A versatile wine, ideal for both festive gatherings and relaxed dinners. It offers a long, satisfying finish that leaves a lasting impression. This full-bodied red wine has notes of elderberries, brambleberries, red peppers, and spice on the finish. It is full of juicy tannins and a medium-long finish. The Cabernet Franc adds a complex herbal note while the Syrah adds subtle strawberry and black pepper, all wrapped up in our velvety Merlot. Drink with food or without, this well-balanced A mineral whiff to the savory berries, walnuts and subtle wet leaves. Juicy and medium-bodied on the palate with firm, dusty tannins and a savory, sappy finish. This is holding up very well. The tannin quality and quantity goes hand in hand with its intensity.
