Two Hands 2022 Bella's Garden Shiraz

Bella’s Garden is part of Two Hands’ Garden Series, which highlights regional expressions of Australian Shiraz. Fruit is sourced from select vineyards across the Barossa Valley, particularly the western ranges around Marananga, Greenock, Ebenezer, Seppeltsfield and Stonewell. These sites are dominated by red-brown clay soils that naturally produce lower yields and concentrated, structured Shiraz.

The 2022 vintage followed a cool, mild growing season with slower-than-average ripening and low yields, producing excellent concentration while maintaining freshness. Fermentation took place in open-top fermenters with approximately 10 days on skins, followed by malolactic fermentation and 16 months in French oak hogsheads, up to 20% new. The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright crimson with a deep, nearly black core.
Nose: Blackberry, raspberry and plum with violet, eucalyptus, sage, black pepper, clove, vanilla and dark chocolate.
Palate: Full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe dark berries, cassis and chocolate supported by fine, velvety tannins and fresh acidity.
Finish: Long and persistent, with dark fruit, liquorice, spice and savoury oak.
