Belle Glos 2023 Clark & Telephone Pinot Noir

Sourced from the Clark & Telephone Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley AVA, this 100 % Pinot Noir is planted on sand-stone soils and benefits from coastal breezes and long hang-time. The 2023 vintage was aged in 100 % French oak (about 60% new) for ~12 months, adding depth and structure.

This wine opens with lush aromas of ripe cherry, crushed raspberry, and nutmeg, highlighted by hints of dark chocolate, holiday spice, and holiday baking spice. On the palate it delivers bold and rich flavours of black plum, blueberry pie, and velvety texture, finishing warm and structured with lingering cocoa and spice notes.
This wine will show beautifully from 2025 through 2032, with a peak window around 2026–2030 as the oak and richness meld seamlessly. Although approachable with decanting in the near term, it has the structure to reward short- to medium-term aging.
