Cadenhead Travellers 10 Year Old Rum

Cadenhead Travellers 10 Year Old was distilled in 2015 at Travellers Distillery in Belize and bottled in 2026 for Cadenhead’s Single Cask Rum Collection. Made from molasses and column distilled, it spent ten years in an ex-bourbon barrel before being bottled at 55%, without added colour or chill filtration.

Travellers traces its history to 1953, when Jaime Omario Perdomo began blending rum for his bar in Belize City. The family-owned operation eventually developed into Travellers Distillery in Belmopan, now one of Belize’s best-known rum producers.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Creamy vanilla custard and Madagascan vanilla with caramel-coated apple.

Palate: Dates and walnut lead into caramel and toasted marshmallow, giving the rum a rich combination of fruit, nuts and browned sweetness.

Finish: Rye bread and cinnamon bun with fresh lemon and an unusual touch of smoked chestnut.
