Famiglia Cotarella, formerly known as Falesco, is one of Italy’s most respected modern wine producers, founded by renowned winemaking brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella. Based in Lazio and Umbria, the winery is known for combining innovative techniques with regional identity.

“Poggio dei Gelsi” is produced in Lazio from carefully selected vineyard sites benefiting from warm Mediterranean conditions tempered by elevation and cooling breezes. The wine is often based on Malvasia and other local or international white varieties, depending on the vintage and blend composition.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to preserve freshness, aromatics, and fruit purity. The style is clean, expressive, and designed for early enjoyment.
